I had a bad experience with Geek Squad online so I hauled my laptop into the store. Amitoj assisted me. He was absolutely wonderful! Had a calming, "we've got this" demeanor and walked me through everything as he completed different tasks to help me. Spectacular customer service skills.

Poor Customer service. Wasted two days waiting for geek squad to arrive for scheduled appointment. Had to call and reschedule twice and no one showed up. First time we called they said they don't know what happened. Not showing that anyone contacted us. Mind you, we have a warranty on our washer. We have a 3 year warranty on washer and refrigerator. It is now 12:05PM again on the scheduled appointment from 8:00-1200PM. Very disappointed and angry. Now waiting on hold for customer representative to answer. Representative finally answered and while i was spelling first name they hung up the phone. This was after waiting for more that 10 minutes on the phone. Not very professional at all. Very dissatisfied with support. I would rather have someone come and pick up the item. Allison (Tech support) finally answered and dealt with the call professionally. Thank you Allison. Great customer service on your part. Technician is still a no call no show. If you are in the Augusta Best Buy location and are a manager, please talk to your technician about the importance of communicating with clients. Cost of everything is going up so being stuck at home two days wasting 8hrs not earning money is costly. Perhaps even worth more than the warranty and washer that we paid for. Thank you again to Allison(Customer Care Representative) that finally made some good sense and was willing to work a solution that is at least half satisfactory to a frustrated(understated) customer. Update: The solution was to wait another 1.5 hrs to give technician a chance just in case the technician took longer at another location. I was told if tech does not show up in this time, to call back and they will escalate to geek squad manager for a call back. Well it has been 1 hr and 45min. I called back, and because the wait time i opted for call back. still waiting...now playing phone tag. another day wasted. Update: it is now: 3:16 pm, I just started combing through my emails and came across a third pa...

Geek Squad has no concern that the agent who came out to my house to work on this TV just dropped the whole thing and left me in the dark so the company could close the repair because they don't want to fix/replace my TV. After the second repair attempt, Agent Trey stated that they would have to escalate this to replacement. I received one call from him after stating he hadn't heard back yet after about two weeks. Then I called to again be told no update but he was going to look into it. Then I could never get a hold of the agent again. After over a month of trying, I called Geek Squad directly to be told I had been called about this. I had not. I check my phone regularly. I stated that I needed to be called about my repair and to state who the call is from or leave a message so I can call back. Never got a call. Now the company has completed the repair when my TV is worse than when the repair began. As of now, I am reaching out to every review site and looking into contacting news crews until this is resolved. This is not how you treat paying customers.

Before even asking what I may need; asked if I had an appointment and upon rely of no denied service. When I said I only needed a price range quote on a new battery 4 my lap top (which I had bought from this exact store), was informed it would need to be sent out to service center and could take weeks. No further support offered. Take away is best buy geek squad is only a processing point to an outside service. Please note I've discovered other businesses that provide in house service. Some very close to this location so don't waste your time and energy here. Good Luck.

Literally told me to call, then told me to go online instead, explained i already did, told the situation, then was told to bring it in to get it factory reset. Why bring it in to reset it when i can do it at home? Didnt even bother giving me other options. Called a different Best Buy GeekSquad and they actually gave me a solution
