Friedman Branch Library

The librarian was kind enough to make sure a book I was looking for was on the shelf before I drove there. The young man at the desk was kind and helpful

Went to this public library several times while I was a still a student at Augusta University. It was not a far drive away from the University Village. While not the biggest library in the city, this branch has a decent amount of books to read, a small computer lab and an overall quiet and peaceful atmosphere which is what you'd want in a library.

A library is suppose to be quiet. The workers behind the desk were talking very loud as well as the patrons. A lady and her daughter were so loud that I couldn’t concentrate and the library employees didn’t address the situation. I will not come back here. I will drive downtown where it is very quiet and everyone respects others regarding quietness.

It was great to see Mrs. Scurry! Remembering the year 2003 when she was on staff at Wallace Branch. She, Mrs. Allen and others were very instrumental in teaching me computer basics when I was laid off at MCG. She was very effective, kind, helpful and user-friendly. She kept laughter flowing and was always with the best attitude while effectively during her job! Such a pleasant Librarian!

A nice and cute library, small but it's the kind of library you can go in, read around, collect or order your books, and a really helpful and friendly staff to assist any of your other needs. I tend to prefer the smaller branches of Libraries, and this is the model example as to why.
