Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

ORDERED: Sunday evening after 6:00pm I was excited to see a Freddy’s come to Augusta; only to be gravely disappointed. It is understandable that this location just opened, so the service maybe a little prolonged. At the same time, they should be 100% prepared take orders and put out food in a somewhat timely manner. The drive-thru wait was painfully long; so long, I turned the car off since we just sat in that one spot for a VERY, VERY long time. The food is mid. Definitely a disappointment compared to other Freddy’s locations. Most of the employees we saw (about six) although nice, mostly seemed confused. There was a random employee sitting on the curb near the drive-thru (highly unsanitary, considering after their break they will go back into the restaurant). It was easy to almost think the person was homeless and just hanging around. Overall, I would not come here again. Almost $30 for a kids meal, adult combo and an additional order of fries. The extremely long wait time, food that was not very warm, and high price does not make it a place I would visit.

Double cheeseburger with bacon was great. Thin fries were some of the best I’ve had in a while. And the shake… thick like concrete! Would highly recommend. Step up from steak and shake, even with bringing it home to eat.

Ate inside. Lovely service. Food was out pretty fast. And if I needed anything they would get it immediately. Feels and looks almost like a true diner. Would recommend.

Came with my family after 9 pm. The young crew was helpful, kind, courteous, attentive, & were invested in making sure our order was as we wanted. The location feels off... but that's OK, the hotel that is being reconstructed behind this location is an eye sore. But It didn't hinder my family's experience. The food was yum..& the ice cream delish! Good job night crew!!

Great food but staff could be WAY friendlier. I understand it’s fast food but no need for attitude. The girl literally argued with me about a drink. I just wanted a sandwich and tots and she pushed the drink, saying it was cheaper. What if I wanted to pay more? I’ve NEVER been argued with over something like that. JMcBride was my cashier and she seemed like she didn’t wanna be taking orders at all.
