My wife and I had the privilege of being part of this incredible church community for an entire year while stationed here at fort gordon, and it truly became my spiritual home away from home. From my very first Sunday, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness that made me feel like I belonged. Joining the choir was one of the most rewarding decisions I made during my time here. The music ministry is exceptional, with talented musicians and singers who pour their hearts into worship. Our weekly rehearsals became something I eagerly anticipated—not just for the beautiful music we created together, but for the fellowship and friendships that developed. The choir director's passion for worship and dedication to excellence inspired us all to grow both musically and spiritually. The Sunday Bible study sessions were consistently enriching and thought-provoking. The teaching was biblically sound yet accessible, creating an environment where both new believers and seasoned Christians could learn and grow together. The discussions were always engaging, and I appreciated how different perspectives were welcomed and explored with grace and wisdom. Whether celebrating milestones or walking through difficult seasons, the church family consistently shows up with love, support, and practical help. The worship services themselves are spirit-filled and meaningful, with excellent preaching that challenges and encourages. The atmosphere is welcoming to visitors while maintaining the depth and reverence th...

This was a wonderful Presbyterian Church for someone who was raised a Baptist. I was approached by a woman on the first service that I attended and was welcomed to continue to come the next week. I this Church welcoming and the Pastor spoke soundly.

I had been attending First Pres since 2004. Difficult because there wasn't diversity. We loved Pastor Robertson and what he did during the time he was there There were a few members that were kind and friendly. I will not discuss my experience or my son's. When I needed them the most they really let me down. That's all I will say. The positive things I can speak of is how they were making an impact of having their members move downtown, they invited Pastors of different races (black). Heritage Academy School came from First Pres.
