Small town church feel with big church amenities. The Sr. Pastor knows most to all by first name and everyone always makes you feel welcome. It feels like a home away from home.

My child , who is now in first grade has recently been diagnosed with school based anxiety, and is severe enough that the doctor thinks he needs counseling from it. I say that to say that the doctor says that she is pretty sure his school Based anxiety is stemming from his experience at this preschool when he attended in 4k My child attended the Mother’s Day out program in the 4k, his teacher We were told by the director that she was the best teacher to get him ready for school. Everyday she was sending Home something about him not listening or sitting. Also was sending home 5-6 papers a day for a 4 year old. First off 5-6 papers a day for 4 year olds in a 4 hour Time frame is ridiculous. But because the director swore that this teacher was the absolute best, I continued to take him. It got to the point that every time we would pull up to the church my child would scream and cry because he did not want to go. I, naively thought it was him just wanting to stay home. The notes continued home about him not “listening” and him not “sitting” in his seat. If anyone knows anything about 4 year old is that no, you will not be able to keep them In a seat for 4 hours. That’s absolutely ludacris. She sent me a message one day asking if I had giving him medicine because he wouldn’t sit in his chair ( my child was not on any kind of medication) Also she told me that she thought that he had a hearing problem. Anyway because I always heard good things about this program I continued to take him. Then mid year comes around and we have parent teacher meetings, where his teacher says that he is behind in everything , and Cannot tell her his abcs , colors or numbers, and she then tells me that I need to have him evaluated. I tell her that I don’t understand why he won’t tell her those at school because at home, he could and would tell all those things every day to me. I was absolutely confused ( I didn’t realize that he was just absolutely petrified of this person) So , I go get...

Every time I go to worship in this church I feel so much of the lord’s presence and love. I need forgiveness and blessings after a stressful work week. The pastors that give us our message, and at times some of the children in the church. It feeds my soul which gets me in a much better head space for the week ahead. I strongly recommend this church. Very welcoming, non judgemental and comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful environment. They have the best teachers that I have ever encountered and they truly treat my family like family. If my kids could go through the 12th grade here we would with no questions asked. From the director to the assistant director, every teacher, and aftercare….everyone is wonderful! There is a certain peace that a mother gets when she can send her kids somewhere for the day and know that they are fully taken care of.

This review is for the Mother’s Day Out program. Both of my boys (5 yo and 5 months old) attend their MDO program and I’ve had only positive experiences here with both. The teachers genuinely care and do their best to work with you. I’m a very picky mom and these are people I trust...and that’s huge for me! They know everyone who walks through the door and safety is their priority. You can tell they care deeply and do their best. I’ve popped in early before to grab my baby and saw he was being held and rocked and it just made my heart leap for joy to know he was getting the care he deserves. Highly recommend First Baptist Church of North Augusta for their Mother’s Dat Out program.
