Complete waste of time, they don’t even give you other resources when denied services.

If you need shelter for you and your lil family this is not the place to seek help first of all you have to do a intake witch I understand but then it's about another week or 2 you have to do a interview just to get in but it's not guaranteed but the question they ask about you credit score eviction did you ever file bankruptcy or do you have any loans out in your name have you ever been to jail and for what they run a background check and everything about your vehicle insurance do you owe the IRS or any government agency etc just to get in the program plus it's a so call waiting list but you need to be working to even be considered like why tf did y'all have to do any kind of intake or interview if you knew you wasn't gone to give me a chance just a waste of my time n gas talking about we sorry we went with another family yea right if you look at the reviews most of the people that's giving them 5 ⭐ look at their skin color compared to other people of color almost same story from blk people

Me and My toddlers 4yo & 5yo entered the program in June 2023 && Got Kicked out in July 2023 ! I honestly wouldn’t recommend this program to anybody who has an outside life or any friends of that nature ! They bring you in and make you think that they are helping you mentally but that’s not the case ! I felt like I was in prison but instead it wasn’t a Cell it was a house that I couldn’t use the stove top nor the oven , everyday around 8:30pm the alarm was set , so when my kids would go to sleep I couldn’t even step outside just to have a peace of mind let alone lift the windows up ! Every morning the alarm was lifted at 8:30am ! Everyday me and my toddlers got picked up and they went to daycare while I went to the day center , I would put in about 7-8 applications a day && after about 2 weeks of doing this daily routine I finally got a job but the job I got accepted for I couldn’t keep it because the daycare opened at 8am and the job wanted me there at 7am so of course I had to give this full time opportunity up because of the 1 hour difference, they kept asking me why my mom could t get them for a hour or this and that , but in my mind I’m thinking that this is a program and you want me to better myself so why can’t my toddlers be with you for the hour because you have to take me to work anyways and dropped them off at daycare !! I end up accepting another job with less hours and less pay and the Director Jenifer belittled me about the pay that I was making but in my eyes I felt like it was a start especially since I had ti turn down a way better opportunity!!! On the days I didn’t work I would still have to show up to the day center , yea you would think you would be able to relax and gather your thoughts mentally while your off and kids are at daycare but that’s not the case , they don’t want you in the home by yourself if kids are gone !!!! Yea I know crazy right , I always tried my best to follow the rules because it was like 85 of them “No Seriously” ! O...

This program was a blessing. They helped me and my family at our lowest point. We were homeless and broke when we started... Now, we are homeowners with the tools and skills needed to maintain our home and make better financial decisions. It was hard work, but it was worth it in the end.
