My father was receiving bed changing and washing twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) however the gap of four days my father developed a sore on his backside. The company increased services to every weekday for the last month and his wounds began healing. However once this occurred Encompass said that due lack of help my father had to go back to the original schedule. Encompass does not do referrals for services and ignore your request with "We have to talk to the doctor". The staff that comes out are great however the adminstrative people are about getting money and some nurses, but not all, just observe with the least amount services. And what's even more bizzare is my father can not get a ambulance, go to the hospital or therapy unless Encompass approves it.

I have been so hurt by the treatment of this company. It's speechless and they know why. I am THANKFUL I found another hospice company that treated us with such love and respect until mom's last hours on earth. I FELT LOVE from the final company but not from this one.

My experience began as lovely but then went south quickly.
