Not a great vet to take pure breed pups to! Took 9 Belgian Malinois and almost lost a few due to meds not given right. Emergency and they were closed for a whole week. Leave you on hold over 10 min. Take your beloved babies to Johnston Animal Hospital with Dr Rauton! He saved my babies. Never had a problem!!! Be warned!

Great first experience! Took my 10 year old Beagle mix in for a dental consult. Clinic was very clean and everyone was super nice. Great price on the dental quote! Will be coming back for the dental appointment.

Literally the best vet I have been to. My 6 month old puppy began having an issue and I was in the middle of trying to find a new vet. I live in Aiken and every place I called had a 2 week-3 month wait for new clients. I called EVC because they came highly recommended and they were able to fit us in two days after I called. Dr. Bagshaw is one of the best vets I’ve met. Very down to earth, willing to answer questions, and truly has the welfare of his patients as his focal point. My dog is very shy/untrusting of new people and Dr. Bagshaw remained patient with him for our entire appointment. He didn’t rush me through any concerns I had. He made a guess about what was wrong with my puppy after observing him, did an X-ray, and he was correct. The techs and receptionists are super nice as well and the office as a whole has a very “family feel” to it. I’ve definitely found my new vet!

On a late Friday afternoon I came to purchase flea removal for our inside dog who was exposed to a stray and had fleas. She is very healthy and has been seen by Johnson animal Hospital. I decided to give Edgefield a shot for something like this due to the fact that I have been burned a few times with the amount of money they charge for a routine check up, unfortunately, they would not sell me flea treatment because they had not seen my dogs in over two years while I understand they want to make sure the dogs are healthy I can’t wrap my head around why they need to see my dog for a visit in order to sell me a flea treatment. I was disappointed but thankfully ,Johnston came through and asked no questions.
