Downtown Dog - Aiken, SC

My pups and I both loved Downtown Dog. The morning of our visit, they were having an event. They agave us a cute little bag with treats! Oliver and Tinkerbell enjoyed a pup cup with a biscuit. Oliver enjoyed his so much that he finished Tinkerbells. There were also several pups waiting to get a new doo. Oliver and Tinkerbell were very impressed with the great selections of products 👏 Needless to say, we will return 😀 pictures for reference..

Took my puppy here for his first grooming session which they said would not be a problem. He is a Goldendoodle. About 45lbs. They called after two hours and said that they had a hard time cutting him as he was being active. I said okay I’m coming to get him. They cut his face and paws and that was it. They charged me for a bath plus for a giant dog. Mind you a giant dog is listed as a Great Pyrenees for example. So they overcharged for what they did and didn’t even try to cut him. Will not be going back.

Just moved to Aiken and found Downtown Dog on Google maps. They have a golden retriever on their website so I booked an appointment. Prompt response. I parked right in front and opened the door and it smelled like a French pastry shop. Very attractive retail area. My European golden, Dizzy, is vision impaired and has been anxious at previous appointments at other groomers. To the point that I was anxious. When I returned to pick her up, she was very happy and “at home”. The groomer was excellent. The price was more than worth the service. I’ll be a repeat customer.

My Doodle and I enjoy visiting the store and picking up delicious treats or cute little knick knacks for him. He also gets a hair cut there every once in a while and so far it's my favorite place to go, and I've tried three other places before. They do a great job and the prices are reasonable.

I love downtown dog!! It smelled so amazing in there from their fresh baked biscuits! I also love the selection.
