Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Augusta Near Fort Eisenhower

Don’t go here unless you want to get a fungal infection. Rooms not clean, run down and apparently no employees. First room had hair in the bed and a used sock. Second room had pee stains all over the toilet seat and blood in the shower. Only good thing about this place is that I was able to get a refund for my stay.

The motel is a little outdated and could be cleaner, but it's better than a lot I've been in. The pool is small. The thing I didn't too much care for was the washer and dryer is outside. I do not like the idea of leaving my clothes outside of motel for just anyone to gather up.

We knew we were going to check in late and had a lot of stuff to bring inside, so we requested a first floor room ahead of time. At most hotels when we do this, we end up with a second or third floor walk up, but when we checked in to the Days Inn by Wyndham Augusta at nearly 1 AM, we were given the very closest room on the first floor. Loading in was a breeze and the night clerk, Ramses, Was very kind. In addition, we had a couple of bicycles locked onto our bike rack and asked him if he thought it was safe enough to leave them on the car overnight. He told us that there were security cameras all over the property (we could see his multi view monitor) and he showed us where we could park in one of the cameras views. Then he assured us that he’d keep an eye on our car. He was over and above the call of courtesy. In the morning I went to fill up my water bottle at the lobby fountain and the day clerk — he may have been the manager Rick — enthusiastically called out, “ma’am!” and held out an ice cold bottle of water to me. We’ve been on the road working for three straight months now, and of all the hotels we’ve stayed in, this one was the cleanest, with the most comfortable bed, and the kindest, most efficient staff. In the current climate of meanness and hostility, the staff here reassured us that we can still count on the kindness of strangers.

The room itself was pretty decent. It was very clean and spacious. The only issue we had was. That it was a no smoking hotel. The people next to us were smoking the whole time we were there. They weren't smoking cigarettes either🙄. Plus, their TV was loud all night. Also, they needed to clean the fridge. I didn't open it because of how it looked on the outside. Other than that, it's a good night's rest.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a safe, we'll lit environment. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a "no-frills" hotel stay.
