Crowne Plaza North Augusta, an IHG Hotel

Decent rooms, clean property. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity that you can walk to. Breakfast was tasty at the hotel. The morning we were there, they only had one waitress in the restaurant for the whole place and the Chef had to come out and Support - they still managed to do an incredible job and were very friendly, albeit stressed running around. Overall, it was a decent day.

Me and my fiance had a short vacay for one day but we had a great time, listening 🎶 to Mr. Eugene on the rooftop, as we danced the evening outside. Beds were really comfy and hotel was quiet. We also briefly went to the riverfront. So cute. Great place to take photo memories or just take a stroll. The day's weather was also perfect with Sunny Blue Skies 💙. We'll definitely be back soon.

Madelynn is the most thoughtful and caring bartender I have met in this region of the world. I checked in and told her I'd be bounding in and out of business meetings and would prefer quick service. She not only did that but kept the clients drinks and names and gave them a very white velvet glove feel. A

Overall the bed was soft, and place was quiet, but they charged me $12 per day to park, but I didn't have a car, my friend drove. He too was charged for parking even though he parked on the street. I had to speak to 2 different managers before they fixed it. Then they charged me a no show fee cause I changed my reservation and stayed another day. That too took me 2 mgrs to fix. The pool and location was the only good things.

The glooes in the rooms and hallways DESPERATELY need a good shampooing o two to give them breath again. In just 30 minutes of my little one crawling on the floor she was almost black from the dirty carpets. She was finding lots of things on the floor, not vacuumed well, jelly beans, pen caps, plastic tabs from clothing. Room for 4 had only 2 full size towels. In room coffee isn't great nor the sugar or non dairy creamer, but the lobby coffee was decent enough. Didn't like no breakfast with the stray unless you but from the expensive restaurant ($28 breakfast buffet is a lot) Staff was very nice and friendly though. We appreciated them. Wifi connectivity was awful unless it's mundane things, don't hope to have good virtual office meetings there. Pool looked nice as well as the gym but I didn't utilize them. Didn't like being charged a "destination fee", business area fee, parking fee - when unused AND shuttle service - also not used. It's a blanket fee for ALL guests, so look at your itemized bill. Mostly a pleasant experience and would probably stay again when in the area as needed, because the staff was very friendly and attentive.
