Costco Optical Department

This was our first time using Costco optical. My husband got a new prescription today and I had heard good things about them so we went there. No appointment needed. The person we saw, Julius, was excellent. He helped us find and try on the perfect glasses. The prices were very good, and even better when you bought more than one pair. My husband always likes to have a second pair of glasses just in case, and they give you $50 off the second pair. He even got a pair of sunglasses. The total for the three pair was around $500 and he’s paid that for one pair alone before. One pair was Gucci too!! Great deal. Julius was very thorough as well. We plan to make this our go to for eye exams as well!

Dr. Fowler is a great doctor. His wife runs the office and is wonderful also. He listens and offers solutions other doctors have not. I have a permanently scratched cornea and it complicates things. I have had other doctors argue about the issues I experienced but not Dr. Fowler. Our whole family goes to him and we couldn’t be happier. He is an experienced doctor and has been the only optometrist at this Costco. Don’t hesitate.

I just had to give a huge thank you and positive review. I get my glasses from Costco Vision Center and on Saturday my glasses fell out of my purse when I was getting out of the car and I somehow managed to slam the door on them which caused both lenses to pop out and the frame to bend in so many different places. I took them there just to see if there was anything they could do or to reorder the frames and the gentleman behind the counter fixed the glasses perfectly. You cannot even tell they were broken. They are no longer bent and the he put the lenses back. I was so happy to not have an extra bill around the holidays and so grateful that I got my glasses back in one piece.

Dr Foster is absolutely wonderful and takes his time with the exam which is appreciated! He had a wonderful demeanor throughout the entire appointment which was refreshing! Mrs Holly was very pleasant and extremely helpful the entire visit! Both of them were easy to talk to and I would recommend Dr Foster's practice to everyone!

Dr. Fowler is by far the best eye doctor in the CSRA. He is professional, knowledgeable, and really cares about his patients. I came in as an emergency last minute walk in thinking I had an object in my eye. He immediately determined that I had a scratched cornea and took measures to get rid of all the pain I was experiencing and began the healing process. I highly recommend him and I will be back.
