Cook Out

This was the fanciest cookout I have been to. The interior looked freshly remodeled and very clean. The bathroom was so nice I took a picture, ha! Both staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. They seemed to enjoy their jobs. Food speaks for itself. Can’t go wrong with a burger that tastes home grilled, Cajun fries, cheese bites or quesadilla, and a cheer wine!

In three separate occasions, today marking the third; I have order chicken fingers (3), and when I receive my box, there’s either one chicken finger in the box, or like today, zero chicken tenders in the box. You guys can cook the food well but don’t understand “chicken tenders” and how to actively place them in a box and give them to me. It has slipped out of possible outcomes I guess.

What a huge disappointment. I’m from out of state and I got off the highway. It has a catchy name. I figured OK I told the cashier this is my first time eating here she offered no suggestions. Nothing I asked a customer who was waiting what is good to eat here they suggested the double burger but meanwhile, I was waiting for the cashier to come back. She came back I ordered and then she walked away again. I’m thinking is your party going on in the back or something cause this happened several times while trying to place an order so I ordered finally let’s go use the restroom and it was occupied. There was a strong, strong, strong smell of marijuana coming from the bathroom to my surprise. It was one of the employees getting high in the bathroom. I never leave comments Good or bad but this place definitely put an impression on me. Then I got my food and my double burger was smashed so thin like a Smashburger I couldn’t tell if the meat was thicker or the bun was thicker. It was smashed that bad. So needless to say, the customer service was lousy the food was so so with a catchy name I had to ask for salt pepper and a napkin. I got two out of the three I got the salt and the pepper first impressions mean a lot. I will never be back nor will I ever stop another one.

We’re pretty big fans of Cook Out. We’ve been numerous times, but I’ve never taken time to write a review. For a family of three, it’s hard to beat the prices and options at Cook Out. Where else can one get a double cheese burger with a corn dog and quesadilla on the side? Our service is always quick and employees are always nice. For the options and for the price, it’s really hard to beat Cook Out 🔥.

Ordered Cajun cheese fries on menu listed for 2.99. When I got my recipe I see the young lady rang me up for large fries for 2.99. Then added cheese x2 at .50 each. Thats not what I ordered. Manager said it's policy to charge for a large if customer doesn't specify. There are no options on menu so this is a bite confusing. Why would it be policy to change customer a different price than what's on the menu..
