Sadly, I've had several situations from association. The one that is truly the worst situation is before I move in I was told they weren't going to build houses behind my home. However they did, the problem is the water. It floods bad. There were a lot of trees behind me. Instead of planning the home's lot size outside of the stream they decided to divide the properties in the middle of this stream. It has caused my side to remain constantly damp land. Contacting the local community leaders is extremely difficult. I've suggested to the community to vote to get rid of CMA. Their in it for the money. Not the needs of the community.

Miserable experience with CMA and Melissa Sutton. We are selling our home but Melissa and Co. are refusing to fill out and sign the HOA Questionnaire which clearly states "require this form to be completed by an authorized representative of the Homeowners Community Association ("HOA") to ensure that we will be able to satisfy the HOA's rules and regulations upon closing." This one simple document is about to cause the sale of our home to fall through and delay the closing on our new home. This equals massive consequences for my family over one simple document. Its a shame. While we are on the subject, we have also been trying to obtain a new pool key for weeks now. Several calls / requests but nothing other than "someone will reach out to you." Still nothing and again, it has been weeks. CMA - I highly suggest that you correct your issues before causing more harm to families like mine. You are paid to support the people & communities of which you manage but are in no way doing so. Google would not let me rate 0 star.

They are keep sending letters about my grass and my fence claiming that we are not ip to standards. Wrong , it is always my neyhbor's grass, flower bed, fence or mail box paint that has issues. But this company keep reading the wrong mailbox number and sending the complains to my house. After each letter, I have to take pictures of my property and the neyhbor's property to prove that they sent the letter to the wrong house. If it had happened only once I would let it go, but it has been the norm with this company and has happened several times. When I call I always I get the answering machin. Leaving messages and play phone tag with them is not fun. Once after many phone tags, finally I was able to talk to her over the phone. She said she is busy and she manages many subdivisions so she can't answer the phone. Solution is simple. Get a secretary or don't accept this many properties that you can't manage effectively. Obviously, the disorganization and taking more jobs without resources is their problem. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to send hoa complian letters to the wrong house.

CMA was the best decision our HOA ever made when we switched to it years ago. Marc Hui is by far the best manager we've ever had, and we have a difficult community to manage. His ability to respond quickly to homeowners and the board is remarkable. Hui consistently suggests dependable, high-quality providers, which is a significant bonus in this business. Marc and CMA have made our HOA very happy.

Be careful when dealing with this company. They will tell you that you owe them money when you don't. Has happened to me 3 separate times and once proof your paid up is produced theyll tell you "the system must not have credited your account for some reason". No telling how much they've gotten out of people who just pay without question.
