Even though I just started with Comfort at Home Homecare, it has been amazing so far! The administrator, Darlene is exceptional at what she does and has great communication. I enjoy working here and I would recommend anyone to this facility and the resources they offer!

The staff at this provider is very friendly and attentive to the details of my paperwork. The inside is kept clean and organized. My services were provided right on the appointment time that prevented other scheduling conflicts, which was greatly appreciated. QTC made a great choice in choosing this location to provide services.

Unfortunately I would not even give this company 1 star but this is the only option. We hired this company for my mom who had just gotten out the hospital after a very long stay of 28 days. She was very weak and would need around the clock care. They require a week up front deposit which was fine but now I know it’s because they can’t provide what they promise, which leads to cancellations without a full 24 hours. The very first day, the caregiver they sent was 1 and half hours late and ended up leaving 30 minutes early without prior arrangement for care, so my mom was left alone. The next one arrived 2 hours late. As I stated before, my mom who has stage 4 cancer had been in a hospital bed for almost a month and was not able to walk at all. Unreliable Care left my mom in a dire situation. We had no choice but to end our agreement immediately with this company and hire a new one that was RELIABLE. Also one caregiver came by Uber and did not have any transportation. They are now charging us for another 24 hours of care since we cancelled without a 24 hour notice. We cancelled at 10:15am and they charged us for the next 24 hours. We only cancelled because they could not provide adequate care which my mom had to have, it wasn’t a choice. How could we continue to rely on a company that could not provide the care they promised. They didn’t even have Care lined up for the next 24 hours. We have asked for a refund for the extra 24 hours they did NOT provide care but they are refusing. I cannot believe a company is allowed to do this. Please be aware of this company and I would advise to NOT contract them to care for your loved ones. In response to the owner below, someone did eventually show up but neither caregiver you provided was reliable and showed hours late. We had to take off work because your company did not provide what they promised and did not provide adequate care. That is not the way a business should be ran. I’m certain we are not the first people this has...

First of all let me say that this one star review is for the administrator. She called me and very condescendingly said she would call back in a week because I was “ grieving” . She never called back do this is why I’m writing this review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOUR LOVED ONE IS IN HOSPICE. My mother was in in hospice and needed medication every three hours. In Georgia only an LPN or an RN can dispense medication to a patient through home health care services. They have a 24hr cancellation policy. If your “crystal ball” is broken and you are unable to predict when your loved one will pass away then you will be charged for that nurse’s shift. My mother passed away just after the nurse left at 7am. I called them 9 hours before the next nurse was scheduled to arrive to let them know that I wouldn’t be needing a nurse. They told me that I would have a cancellation fee. Okay …. What’s the cancellation fee? It’s $360! The full cost of the nurse’s shift! Obviously, they need the money more than I do and that is just bad business! I thought that was very unfair considering that the person who came to my house for the initial consultation told me that if my mother were to pass away that I would be refunded for that night. The nurses that came to my mother’s house were the BEST and I have no complaints about the care my mother received. Amend your cancellation policy if you are going to accept hospice patients… have some common sense.

I usually do not take the time to write reviews. But, I really felt the need to share my experience with Comfort at home as they have been a lifesaver in a time of need. I have had plenty of experience with many other homecare agencies some Good and and some Bad. However, with all my heart, I can truly say that Comfort at Home has been the best in my experience. They are so compassionate in the care they give. On many occasions the home health aide has gone far and beyond to treat grandma and grandpa as if they were their own Grandparents. Not only giving the care to one parent, but when the other parent needed assistance (although not enrolled in their services), they did not hesitate to assist with care as well. They will even take them to their doctors appointments and pick up their medications when needed. Which is a huge plus. All the staff is very loving and kind. I would definitely recommend Comfort at Home to care if you want loving care for your mom, dad, or grandparents.
