Columbia County Public Transit

I’ve lived here for almost 15 years. I am ADA compliant. I’m blind. I am now 55 even though I complaint in my disability paperwork at the time when I brought in my Ada paperwork and I have yet to ever have them show up in the past 8 years when they did accept my request when I call ,Ive had them leave me stranded when I did get picked up, or I’m told they are under contract with some other nursing home and they cannot offer transit to the general population or I’ve been told they don’t have enough buses or enough drivers. Overall, this is a worthless government service that actually doesn’t provide any real help to those of us that need it.

Overloading school busses. If something happens they will blame it on the busses driver.
