The person I spoke with on the phone twice (two different days) was very pleasant. Also, the person who sat at the front desk and assisted me with getting my son’s Michigan shot record on a Georgia form was also very pleasant. No complaints. Nice staff and clean lobby area.

I had a very disappointing experience with Adrienne (that’s the name she gave me) at the Columbia County Health Department. She was unprofessional and inattentive throughout our call. At 11:23 AM, she placed me on hold without any notice while talking to someone in the background. When she returned 30–40 seconds later, she did not acknowledge that she was back on the line until I said “hello,” at which point she simply responded, “I’m here.” Throughout the conversation, Adrienne had a dismissive attitude and did not seem interested in assisting me. She placed me on hold again at 11:27 AM and did not return until 11:30 AM. At one point, she remained silent on the line for 2–3 minutes without saying anything. Additionally, she appeared to struggle with comprehension, making communication difficult. Professionalism and courtesy are essential in customer service, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that standard. I hope the Columbia County Health Department addresses these concerns to improve service quality.

Staff is very friendly and informative when it comes to the WIC portion . Facility was very clean and temperature was decent. I felt relaxed. Only complaint I have with the visits are the wait time . The building can be completely empty and somehow there is still a wait . I know it’s a process but I shouldn’t schedule an appointment at a certain time and get seen 30 mins later .

An emergency is an emergency. I understand. Be it experienced by the employee, or the patient most importantly. BUT time is VERY PRECIOUS on everyone. I have set this day, 3/18/25 as my appointment at this clinic for the explanation on latent TB treatment because this is only my day off. However, upon arrival, 5mins before the set time, I was told that the RN/NP was not around, that she stepped out for "some matters". If only I was NOTIFIED EARLIER, then I would not take the time to drive 30mins just to get here and not meet the person assigned to my care. I worked night shift last night. I am also an RN, but today I am just a regular PATIENT. I should have been TOLD AHEAD OF TIME. Another thing, finally the NP arrived (after hours of waiting) and went over the treatment regimen. I asked for a "Clearance Form" since this is what is required for my place of work. But then she went into a meeting. Again, I understand that meeting is part of her work and is essential to this clinic. However again, they should have atleast given me updates as to when will they give the clearance and the medicine so that I can finally have my peace and go home and rest. As of writing this complaint form, it was already 1230H. I clocked in 0931H to be exact. 3hrs and counting and I have not gotten any news on the matter. I was VERY DISSAPOINTED by the service that the NP has acted upon. This type of experience is UNACCEPTABLE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN AGAIN.

I moved to Augusta without having a doctor. I've been here almost 7 years and so far I have had great experiences and nice doctors. Today I just scheduled another yearly physical and the last was extremely kind. I want to say her name was Phyllis, but excuse me for forgetting. They have helped me with my physicals, Everytime! The wait wasn't long and I'm so glad allot of people want in the waiting areas.
