Clarion Inn & Suites Aiken South

The rooms were nice and comfortable, everything worked my problem is I made reservations for 2 nights which was a total of $249. So once we got there to check in we were unaware that it was a $50 deposit also the clerk took my $249 for the stay then told us about it!!!! My problem is we were told I would get the $50 back after I check out if there were damage or no smoking in the room and we didn’t! we checked out on 5/11 today is 5/25 I haven’t gotten my money yet!! The manager had the nerve to say it’s because I paid with my card but I contacted the bank and it’s still pending on their end so now I have to take further action!! Please be aware of this before you come from out of town with renovations and paying with a card!!!!

One of our go-to hotels when traveling in the area. This Hampton Inn is always clean, quiet, welcoming and reasonably priced. Staff have always been polite and helpful. Nice places to walk our service dogs, just a great spot.

We stayed 2 nights here. good: -check-in (kristian) and out (esther) were very nice. -could park outside your room -pet friendly (if you care about that) -within walking distance of a grocery store and a fish & chips restaurant bad: -zero ice machines working -no hot breakfast although it looked like there was (deceptive) -no napkins put out 2 days in a row -breakfast area was not being attended and breakfast was just cold cereal, bagel (toaster not working) and an apple. -Juice machine broken, waffle machine broken, no yogurt or hardboiled eggs, no hot food. -no coffeemaker in room -'blanket' was just a thin brown sheet -choice rewards program not applied, so we did not get our points for this stay Price on a weeknight in March 2025 was about $100/night

could use some paint and scrubbing in areas. light switches could use updating. Kinda felt Gross to touch anything l. I'm a IHG member and choice member.. .its not supposed to be a dirty hotel if it's one of these providers. Staff was helpful, ac works good, water was hot. Sink was new and clean.. I don't think I'll be staying here again....though..

If I could it would be a zero star...price of the room kept changing...there where charges on my card after my room was paid for in full..and when you talk to them about it they act like it's not there problem...rooms smelled of pot. Got bit up while sleeping. It's a cheap place that they think is 5 star..ILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!...if you want to get robbed and have a bad experience that's the place
