We had a glass sunroom and Louvered Life room pergola combination completed by Chattels In Design 2 months ago. Megan the project manager and Dan the Designer, were great. We went in to the office and had a design meeting to see how everything would look on the back of the house and they worked with us to make little features inside the room work. They built a mantel and installed a ceiling fan as well. Beautiful Job. I Highly recommend them.

I met with the owner, Dan at the end of February and signed a contract for a small screened wall with a storm door for my patio. Since it was a small job, he indicated it would probably take about three weeks or four at the most. After six weeks, I followed up because I hadn't heard anything about the status of the project. I was told there was some problem getting the materials from their vendor, but someone would call me back with more info. Nobody called. I followed up a couple more times and received a variety of other excuses. It was only after 3 months and until I asked for my deposit back that I heard from Megan, the Project Manager. To her credit, she did get things moving and my screened wall was completed to my satisfaction. But then we had a rain shower and I noticed that water was coming in at the bottom where the aluminum met the concrete. I texted Megan and she indicated she would send someone out to check it the next day. Nobody came and I never heard anything from them again. I had a friend help me with the water issue. I do love my little screened patio, but I would not use this company again.

The sunroom they built for us has completely transformed our home, it’s now one of our favorite places to relax and entertain. Throughout the entire process, the team was professional, punctual, and clearly skilled. Everyone showed up in company uniforms, which gave us immediate confidence in the level of professionalism and organization this company operates with. The craftsmanship on both the sunroom and our deck is top-notch, solid, clean work that clearly reflects their commitment to high quality. Please do not use this company. Over the course of this project, there have been repeated delays and unresolved issues due to the lack of on-site technical support. Despite prior conversations and expectations, technician availability continues to be inconsistent, which directly impacts progress and timelines. Additionally, I’ve noticed a lack of communication and follow-through from the project management . Critical updates, and accountability have been difficult to obtain, leaving me to chase down information that should be proactively provided. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they will take your money

Have enjoyed my custom retractable awning installed by Dan and his crew. Matthew was an incredibly skilled and conscientious employee on the crew. Pays attention to detail. Materials were custom fit to my patio size and it was produced to perfection. Seems to be good quality product and working well so far! Gives my patio an entirely new wonderful atmosphere!
