Not impressed with the caliber of lessons or the billing. I was told if any lessons were missed they would be made up at the end of the "semester". My daughter went to a handful of classes (didnt learn cords or frets - was asked what song she wanted to play, the teacher listened to it and proceeded to play it for her to show her how to play it, no reading music, nothing - disappointing really) and they continue to bill me for another semester when she didnt even get a months worth of classes. The reason for missing at least 2 classes were the fault of the teacher and my daughter decided it wasnt worth it anymore since she wasnt learning anything useful - and I tend to agree. Oh and 30 mins isnt long enough in my opinion, for a lesson, its a revolving door. Edit: I respectfully disagree with your response. A "semester" is not 3 classes. Kindly review the definition of semester. Using this verbiage is misleading and borederline fraudulent. The teacher indicated he is the only guitar teacher and that this was his only slot available, so an additional amount of time wpuld never have been attainable. I would add further information to rebut the remaining counter attacks, but I will refrain in this public forum. IF my daughter attended 6 classes (assuming your records are even correct), that's not even 2 full months. What is "end of the semester makeup" and when exactly does it apply? I didnt get charged for March because she stopped in Feb after having multiple classes cancelled through no fault of our own. If a semester is 3 classes and he canceled 2, then that makes at least 2 of the ones she DID attend, "make ups".

This is an unconventional music lesson building to say the least! But I do not mean that in a negative way. It works as a cooperative so several music teachers work as independent contractors more or less. There are several rooms in the building where each teacher is able to instruct the students and even when multiple instructors are present the additional sound of music is never a bother. The teachers are top notch though! I am renting from cellos2go (another great vendor) and she recommended my cello teacher as one of the best in the area. The rates are quite fair here as well. They have multiple ways of billing and according rates. During the spring and fall they can run on a semester basis and during the summer and winter they take it on a per lesson basis. My only hangup (as of this writing) is their website has compromised security so I highly recommend not entering personal information into their web form. Fortunately, you are able to just give them a call using the number posted and arrange for lessons that way. You can pay for each lesson in person via cash or check so you never have to worry about disclosing information while their site is compromised. This is a musical gem in the small town of Aiken!

Excellent place to get your kid started in playing an instrument or singing. My daughter took piano classes here. Staff is great. Teachers are amazing and prices are fair. Loved the experience.

We used them for a string trio wedding and they were amazing! Sounded so good and worked so hard and learned all of the abnormal music we asked for. Highly recommend!

Great offering of dedicated professional music teachers in various areas of instruments. Our selection was piano and our instructor is very good.
