Cadence Bank

I’ve had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER TODAY! My teenage son went into this bank to cash his check from his summer job. This is supposed to be a life experience for him being able to cash the check he’s work hard for this summer. This was NOT his first time cashing his check here so he’s familiar with this bank or so he thought. He got to the teller and was asked to remove his hat. Keep in mind his hat is a fitted knitted hat Not a cap. After he cashed his check and return in the car to me he said he felt like a criminal. He saw other men in the bank with hats on (their hats were caps with brims on them) I was extremely upset because Nowhere did it say hats were permitted in this establishment so I was very confused as to why my child was singled out to remove his hat. The Manager there, TINA become VERY rude and begin giving out false information and later demanded that I leave after asking to speak to the teller directly who completed my sons transaction .Tomorrow can’t come soon enough so that I can further pursue this matter. DO NOT VISIT THIS BRANCH! You may be discriminated against and ask to remove garments that are covering emotional scars.

BancorpSouth recently bought out my bank, Texas Star Bank. I rarely used my Texas Star bank account due to location but kept them because the service was excellent. When BancorpSouth took over they apparently charge fees for falling below $100. So they charged my account without me knowing till it fell below 0. When I made a deposit they changed me a fee for being below 0. When I called they said there was nothing they could do. They basically stole money from me. I'm not even sure how this is legal.

Had never been there before and I do not have an account there however my husband had to cash a check from there and all went well no issues, they followed all safety protocols and ask him to take off his mask and hat to make sure it was him
