No longer a Blues festival. This was the first year that the line up was a bit different. As a "music" festival it hit the mark because the sound was very eclectic. But walking in expecting to hear blues, it fell short. But that's more my fault of not being informed enough. There is no shade unless you bring your own canopy or umbrella. There was a torrential downpour for about 15 minutes and then it got hot and steamy. At that point the festival was touch and go. They rushed to get all the acts on stage because more rain/thunderstorms were going to hit at 7pm. And luckily they were able to pull it off.

Easy in, easy out, the vendors were especially pleasant, the food offerings were good and very reasonably priced, and then there was the music....oh, the music. I'm not a big fan of the styles of music but I can recognize talented musicians and these were very talented and entertaining. Wynton Marsalis and his band were superb! That was watching genius- nothing short of that. So good!

Always a great time with super music, management and vendors. This year is a big bonus with The Lincoln Center Jazz Quartet and Thomson's own Chris Crenshaw. Thanks, Thomson and all those who work to support this festival each year!

Have enjoyed for 10 plus years, changed beer products. Takes 20 mintues to order food another 20 to get it. We have a group of 14 that attend together, stay at Big hart camp ground but to many changes every year. When things work leave them alone.
