Big Dog Stump and Tree: Experts in Customer Service I called Chris G. at Big Dog in August of 2024 a few weeks before Hurricane Helene. I needed 5 mature trees (2 of which were dead) taken out and the stumps ground down. Chris and his team did an awesome job. They were professional, efficient, and got right to business as soon as they showed up. I am confident that if I had not had the trees removed when I did, they most certainly would have destroyed portions of my house during the storm. I gave Chris a call back in March of 2025 because I had done some landscaping around a stump they had ground down in the front yard. I asked if he could have someone come out and grind it down a little further so it didn't protrude quite as much. He told me he'd get on it and have somebody out there as soon as possible. The guy came by and got straight to business--free of charge. He ground the stump, raked up the mulch, and blew off my driveway. When he was done it was as if he hadn't even been there! If this isn't exemplary customer service, I don't know what is. A+ to Big Dog. To Chris and the team at Big Dog, THANK YOU! You have earned a customer for life with your attention to detail, customer service, and professionalism.

I had several sizable trees that needed cutting down in my front and backyard. I was able to get a quick and honest estimate that was appropriate for the scope of work. Barely a week later I was notified the crew would be at my house to begin work. The crew who cuts and grinds stumps is separate from the crew/company that excavates stumps. I’m currently waiting on the stump excavation. The tree cutting team was very professional. They wore their safety gear and worked in a deliberate and careful manner. The cleanup was rapid and thorough. At no point did debris end up on my neighbor’s properties. Big Dog’s equipment was perfectly suited to the job which facilitated such a quick completion. I would recommend them to anyone.

VERY UNHAPPY. Our job was continually put off for three months, things happen and we understand. We had two trees removed that fell on a fence. After removal the fence and yard were left in a shambles. Fence posts left all over the yard, parts of the wire fence left all over the yard, fencing left in disarray. The least they could have done was remove what they left. We want 20 more trees removed and we are going elsewhere.

Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Had a tree fall on my house across power line, on chimney, roof and side of house. They took great care as not cause any further damage and cleaned everything off roof and lawn. High praise for this company!!

Very professional team. The guys that took great care of my property were Adam, Jason, Brandon, James and Bertrand. The team was professional, safety conscious and committed to getting the job done correctly, clean and safe. The owner Brian, was out checking on his customers and his team. He was making sure we were happy with the service provided by his team and that his team was doing well and had everything they needed. We are very happy with service and the very reasonable prices.
