Bath & Body Works

The staff at this store are so friendly and helpful. I made an order online to pickup in store. They put my order together quickly and were so sweet. Unfortunately when I got home with the order and opened the items, I could clearly tell that of the 4 items I ordered (all lotions), 3 of them had already been used. 1 was perfectly clean and the other 3 all had lotion smeared around under the cap. I’m sure this is just from customers in store using whatever random bottle to try out instead of the official tester, but it’s disappointing to pay for a new/full product and receive a used/not full one, not to mention sanitary concerns. Since I’d already arrived home when I discovered this and won’t have time to go back to the store within the next couple of weeks, I called bath and body works customer service to see if they could maybe send me replacement product. Apparently all they can do is forward a complaint to the store itself and could not offer me any type of resolution because “it would cost us money”. Yes, that is a direct quote from the representative of an $8.36 billion dollar business. So the employees of the Aiken BBW get 5 stars, the other customers get 1 star for not using tester bottles, and BBW corporate gets negative 5 stars.

2023-03-02: I came in this week to pick up an order I had placed online. The employees were very pleasant, helpful, and available. The store was very clean and tidy. Will return in the future.

Worse place ever. I will not purchase from this location again. Made an online order that wasn’t even filled until I called corporate. Then they said they didn’t have the items. The girl on the phone at the Aiken store was very rude and not helpful at all. So now I have to wait for my refund because the guy at corporate don’t know how to cancel an order.

I hadn't been in this location before, but decided to drop in after my regular trip to pOpshelf near the same shopping center, and I'm glad that I did. I enjoyed the sales and the associates were so friendly. The store was well kept and inviting, I'll be adding it to my regular shopping stops.

I am not from this area and this is the second time I have come to this store. It is smaller than the ones I am used too. But that is not my complaint. This first complaint is not directed towards this Aiken location, but in general to Bath and Body Works as a whole. They continue to raise the prices, which I know all things go up in price over the years However, the quality of the products seems to be going down. The scents don't always last as they used to. And the shiwere gets do not seem to lather up as much either. The coupons you send out randomly and the one' that offer a free full size product should reflect the prices you are charging, not for below. What is the point of getting a full size for free if the coupon doesn't reflect the price. Also, if you have a new line out such as the newest one Everyday Luxuries make them available in all the stores, not just a few of them. Not everyone wants or can drive for hours to another location to find the product. I know you can order online, but not everyone wants to do that either. Now my complaint about this Aiken store. I went here Sunday during the 5.95 sale one of the employees there, I think she is a manager there was very rude. She was in the front of the store greeting people. Well, I was never greeted and she was so nice and polite/bubbly to everyone else. But she treated me like I was a disease. I love Bath and Body Works. I don't get to go there that often, but when I do it is a treat for me. But this kind of experience crushed that good feeling. You should treat all the customers with the same amount of exuberance. My money is just as good as there's.
