My Husband and I first time trying this restaurant. Morgan was our server and she was the sweetest. It was very welcoming . We had the seafood dip for our appetizer(Delicious) I had the catfish platter and my husband had the catfish poboy(he enjoyed). We will definitely be returning costumers and we would highly recommend The Back Porch!☺️

We stopped in on our way traveling through. Even though it was busy there was no reason for the service to be so slow. We were there an hour and 45 min. Lots of workers standing around. EVERYTHING TOOK FOREVER! My Salad was good. Pretzel pretty good. My husbands burger over Cooked. Hush puppies good. My Phillie cheesesteak didn’t have nearly enough meat and veggie. Appalling how long we waited and the amount of staff that moved like turtles !!

If you're on the hunt for truly fresh chicken fingers, perfectly crisp fresh-cut fries, and service that makes you feel genuinely welcome, look no further. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a refill or an answer to a question. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and that makes a huge difference. Now, let's talk about the stars of the show: the chicken fingers. Forget those frozen, processed strips you find at so many places. These were clearly made with fresh, quality chicken breast, hand-cut and coated in a light, flavorful breading that offered a satisfying crunch with every bite. The chicken inside was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. You could actually taste the freshness, which is a real treat. And the fries? Oh, the fries! They were the epitome of fresh-cut perfection. Golden brown and crispy on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside. They weren't overly salty or greasy, allowing the natural taste of the potato to shine through. Honestly, they were the kind of fries you keep reaching for even when you think you're full. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful suggestions, and checked in on us just the right amount. It wasn't just efficient service; it was genuinely friendly and made us feel like valued customers. This restaurant isn't trying to be fancy or trendy; it's focused on doing the simple things exceptionally well.

We’ve eaten at this location multiple times in the last two years as it’s convenient to our residence. I’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had here. It’s a smaller restaurant so it gets packed fast but the food always comes out hot and for a decent price. We are a big fan of their burgers, fried okra, Rueben, wing chips, buffalo chicken dip, chicken sandwiches, and fried pickles.
