Great service! Salespeople approached right after exiting the truck. Good prices in line with other suppliers. Easy to find. Sod rolled out well. They loaded the pallet straight into the back of the truck.

The person who attends customers by phone has neither the manners nor the courtesy that is needed for this type of work. Very rudely talking to him he cut me off and said thank you goodbye. It must be that my Puerto Rican accent was too strong for his ears. He obviously lost a client and earned this review.

This is not a good business. We never worked with them directly. We had a landscaping contractor that bought pavers from them. After we settled the bill for the whole project with the contractor, they came to my property when we were not there and asked other workmen about us, specifically for our phone number. They then threatened my husband with a lien on our house. Who does that? We didn't buy the pavers from them, the contractor did. They need to take it up with him.

Lesson learned: Neighbors aren't always honest. Get AGW to give you a quote on paper! Then when the sod gets delivered make sure the price on the bill matches what you were quoted. Apparently sod prices fluctuate like the stock market. No complaints on the product itself, not so good at communicating price increases. There are other sod suppliers in the area and I'd advise trying them out first. Southeastern Turf has a $65 delivery fee compared to $85 from AGW. - T. Davis

Purchased sod from this company and was very pleased with the quality of the turf when it arrived. Two weeks later, it is rooting even on a slope. Pricing was was fair also. I recommend this company.
