Everyone in the office killed it with customer service. They were also very thorough. I had all of my needs addressed and they even made sure to ask if I had any questions or concerns. I was able to order my new glasses before I left. I love one stop shopping. The interior was nice, clean and inviting. Would definitely refer friends and family.

The office is easy to find and plenty of parking. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The waiting room reminds me of a ski lodge and is beautiful and quiet. I waited there between segments of my visit. Amanda helped figure out what my new glasses prescription should be. I should have asked her to slow down, as it was difficult to process which lense was better, 1 or 2. Overall, it was a good experience. I was glad that my husband drove me because having my eyes dilated totally wore me out!

The staff is always friendly and helpful and I have never had a bad experience here. All exams are through and staff is attentive to any question I have. All data is awaiting Dr. Marks when I get to his exam which is also very through. He explains any/all eye conditions with recommendations. Very positive experience.

The eye doctor, Dr. Daniel, never verified or reviewed my eye prescription. He walked in, did a brief medical evaluation of my dilated pupils and said that is all I'm going to cover with you today. I tried to ask a question about how my prescription had changed but no details were given. I didn't even know or see the prescription until I got to check out. He didn't ask if I had any questions, concerns or even check on the accuracy of the prescription. The prescription was done quickly by eye tech which was based on a computer automated scan of the eye, which is a starting point but not a good indication of an actual prescription. I was suspicious because I could never actually read the letters well during the tech's eye exam. Plus, a major concern I had from the August Eye MD prescription is that they wrote it for bifocals, but my reading up close vision was never tested! I scheduled and paid for a second eye exam with a more experienced eye doctor. After the new prescription was written, I showed the doctor my prescription from Augusta Eye MD, and he said, "that would not work for you." He also told me that your eyes will vary throughout the day due, but this was more than just a variance. In over 25 years of wearing glasses, Augusta Eye MD is the worst experience I have ever had. I waited 45 minutes to be seen and then I was given a bad prescription without the doctor even reviewing my prescription. Simply incredible.

Be prepared to spend about an hour and a half going through all the tests the associates perform. The staff is very efficient but you have a wait time between tests. The longest wait is for the doctor who seems to always be behind. Once you see him he works quickly and to the point. Don’t expect to ask many questions because he doesn’t have the time and needs to move on to another patience.
