Augusta Choral Society

I have been singing with the Augusta Choral Society for around 7 years. From the first rehearsal, I knew this was a group that took music seriously while also finding the joy in it. I've made some fantastic friends from my time as a member and I look forward to making many more! Also, how often do you get to sing with an orchestra??? Having dress rehearsal + concerts being fully supported by a symphonic orchestra - You just can't beat it :)

I have been singing with the Augusta Choral Society since I moved to Georgia in 1975. I love the group and try to participate every year. I am a fan of classical choral music and sing in the tenor section. The Augusta Choral Society is an true positive outlet for me and find that we make a tremendous contribution to the community.

I joined the choral society when we moved to Augusta and I was looking for a way to meet new people. I found a warm, welcoming group of people connected by a love of music. It has been amazing to learn and perform such timeless and powerful music with a live orchestra. What a wonderful resource for our community!
