As an ex college athlete who continued training, I was left with chronic pain before coming to see Austin. He helped me find the root of my 8 year old hip issues and worked with me to eventually become pain free without forcing me to quit training altogether. If you want to become a pain free athlete and see a PT who cares about your ability to train, and not just sit in a chair all day, this is the place to be.

I found Doc Austin after looking for a PT to help with an injury I sustained while running. I have been working with him for around three months now. I’m running more comfortably and confidently than I ever have before. Doc Austin genuinely knows how to treat your injury while also finding its root cause to educate you on how to prevent it from flaring/returning. Anyone who is an athlete and wants treatment to better their athletic performance, you need to go see Doc Austin.

I can’t recommend Austin Shelnutt at Athletic Edge Performance highly enough. I came to him with persistent elbow pain that was affecting both my daily routine and workouts. From the very first session, Austin demonstrated a deep understanding of not only the injury itself but how it was impacting my movement overall. His approach is thorough, personalized, and rooted in performance-focused recovery. He took the time to assess the issue, explain what was going on in terms I could understand, and set up a clear plan to get me back on track. Each session was purposeful, and I saw consistent progress without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

I happen to run across Dr. Austin on Instagram and then at Max Fitness, after discovering I had some nerve damage and issues with my neck and shoulder, I decided to sign up for physical therapy. In just a month with working with him the pain and strength has come back and he's now helping me with some knee issues. Honestly he's an awesome PT and actually cares about helping you get better. I appreciate everything boss and definitely recommend him for anyone that needs physical therapy!

Doctor Austin is awesome! He explains what the game plan is and checks in all the time. I use to be in pain after working out and we have come up with a plan that lets me work out and have no pain. Truly appreciate him and all his hard work.
