The New General Manager is a terrible person he lacks management skills, very rude, often show favoritism, and also prey on younger women at work. I miss the old GM she was stern but nice and fair. Also the lack of pay is not so great either.

The simple truth is America's and Cath. Soc. Services are 2 best thrifts in Augusta. Comparing the inventories: America's: - Men's clothing - CERTAINLY larger and better quality inventory, not even close (I wouldn't be qualified to speak for women's clothing). - Kitchenware - Moderately larger - Appliances - Moderately larger - Furniture - Very small - Household items (blankets, rugs, pillows, etc) - Moderately larger Prices - good cheap thrift store prices, not as cheap as CSS Has changing rooms CSS Furniture, severely larger selection. Lots of inventory turnaround - alot of traffic and restocking. Prices - mildly cheaper No changing rooms

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was told by 2 different associates that I could return a rug I bought. Imagine my surprise when I went to return it and found I could only get store credit. I guess they didn’t feel the fine print was important.

A little over priced for clothes. They cost more than Good will and salvation army combined. Small selection on books, furniture and appliances. Tons of clothes and shoes. So new stuff also. But for their prices I can go to Walmart nextdoor and pay full price for something new. (Eg. $12.99 for a used men or women's hoodie.)

Christi was amazing! She was very patient, friendly, and did everything she could to resolve the transaction issue I had. I definitely see why she is a manager!
