Americas Best Value Inn Aiken

Let us start at the beginning, checking in should have been our first clue. After a little detective work we locate the “ hotel manager” and down the rabbit hole we went. The curtain was absolutely disgusting, the couch had a cover on it ( why on earth do you think it was covered, I don’t want to know) some kind of stain looked like feces as you can see in the picture, bathroom was gross and when she tried to cut the hot water on , nothing. So I go to the office, tell the man, he walks behind the building for a while, comes back and asks to try the water. Well wouldn’t you know bam! The water is instantly hot….. He must be a Johnny on the spot handyman bc he assured me that he did not go to where the hot water heaters were located and simply turn them on or up and wait for the water to heat up…….At this point we have had enough, try and get a refund, get told no but we can change rooms. Ok so the next room has got to be better than this one right? Oh no. The bathroom room sink was not attached to the counter at all, everything dirty, nothing washed, the door lock inside was broken so anyone with a key could have access, and to top it off when we open the door the next morning they are hosing off the upstairs concrete. Every car parked on the row was soaked with dirty water. I’ve never seen anything like it. If you stay at this hotel check the corners of the mattress for bed bugs and have your tool on you at all times …..you’ll be fine 👍

The only positive was location. This place was disgusting. Dirty..no.breakfast as stated, parking lot is extremely bright. Water running out of bathtub faucet all night, shower went cold after a few minutes, no stopper for tub, dirty burned sheets, dirty towels, had to request new towels for a multi-day stay and they had my husband walk to laundry room to get them out of the dryer, tw front desk manager was never behind the front desk he was wither in his room, on the phone by his room or sitting in the lobby on his phone with the front door locked. More than once the door was locked and he was no where around. Never again not worth the money.

I was in town from out of state for an appointment, My budget was my number one priority and the price was very reasonable my room was comfortable and clean. The service was friendly and professional. I'm impressed, for the price I got more than I paid for 😁

Loud. Bugs. I asked to have room serviced and she said she didnt speak English. Kept my money and then lied. I am so tired of getting ripped off by people who lie cheat and steal. Just wanted an inexpensive place to stay while relocating for work. Such a place does not exist without liars, theives basically total scum.

We was in a hurry and didn’t read the reviews. Mistake. Choose for the breakfast and is a lie. Dirty and disgusting. Ask for non smoking and smell to smoke
