America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff is friendly and helpful while in the store, however, on the phone you get the run around. Great for glasses, SKIP if you have you get contacts. I’ve had the unlucky experience of asking to try the acuvue oasis daily’s, was given a sample of the sofmed daily’s (which isn’t even what I asked for), a few days later was finally given a sample of the acuvue oasis. Once I was ready to purchase, I saw how expensive the daily’s were and asked to change back to my original prescription acuvue vita which is a monthly wear, since the daily’s are out of my budget. I have been told 2 weeks ago that a sample will be ordered, but in the meantime was given a sample of the 2 week wear of the acuvue oasis. I called today to check if the sample had come in for the acuvue vita monthly, since it’s been roughly 2 weeks, and they said it’s not been ordered and they don’t carry it but I could make an appointment to come in with the daily/weekly since the fit is the same and have the doctor check to make sure everything is good. At this point I’m very frustrated, because why could this not have been said to me when I picked up the 2 week sample? Now I have to wait an additional week to spend a minute with the Doctor to make sure the fit is good, and then an additional however long for the contacts to come in, IF IM EVEN GIVEN THE PRESCRIPTION. (Likely I’ll be told that since it’s not the acuvue vita, that I can’t have the prescription) It should NOT be this difficult to get contacts. I have used Americas Best for years, but this is the worst experience I’ve had thus far. Please do better y’all Since I used my insurance, I’ll have to wait a year, but I’m definitely considering going somewhere else.

Went in for eye exam and some new glasses found out I may have to have eye surgery. The eye exam was quick yet thorough the doctor addressed all my concerns. The staff at this location is top tier. Everyone had smiles on their faces, courteous, pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend them 💪🏽

I’ve had a great experience here, very fast in and out and the folksssss here are so welcoming got my glasses fixed and had great conversations with Ms.Cynthia I would recommend anyone to come get their business taken care of. Thank you ladies.

I was very impressed with the help I received from Natasha. She was very patient and made sure the glasses I was trying on looked good on my face. Tyshema also did a great job helping me out also. Thanks ladies for your patience.

Somehow one of my lenses fell out of my glasses. I took them to America's Best and they were able to rewire the lens back on for me. Very nice employees in Aiken SC
