A small barber shop feel with the quality of a high-end salon in every cut. They do an amazing job with kids haircuts as well! My 9 year old has been growing out his hair for almost 2 years and decided he wanted to chop it off. We went to see Candace and she was exceptional! She reassured him several times throughout the cut that it was a big change and it would be shocking. He was excited, but sad to lose his hair at the same time and she did not take offense to his immediate reaction- which was shock and not pure joy. She offered us to come back in a week for any changes he may want free of charge, which was very thoughtful and kind. We won't need it as she did an amazing job. After a couple hours my son was LOVING his new cut! While we were there my 8 year old decided he wanted a haircut so we put his name down on the walk in list. While we waited, I watched as each barber took their time with each customer and carried on conversations while working. They were all very professional and the walk in list went quickly. My youngest saw Hunter and he was great! I let him know my son likes a 'messy' look on top and he took the time to show my 8 year old how to style it with a product that he could use on his own (less I have to do in the morning? I'll take 3 please 😆). My boys love their cuts and thought the shop was really cool. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Americana Barber Shop!

Went in as a walk in the first time for my 9yr old and we got Hunter. He cut my son’s red, coarse, curly hair to perfection. My son likes his hair a little longer on top and short in the sides and requested a “lightning bolt” on the side. Hunter talked to him like a person and not just an “annoying kid” he had to deal with. He made sure my son was completely happy before he left. When it was time for his next cut we made an appointment with Hunter and had an identical experience. My son leaves happy and holds his head a little higher when he’s done. Even tho we see Hunter, Candace and Cole ALWAYS speak to us and treat us just like their own clients and not just a customer there to see someone else. The whole team is amazing. They are respectful and mindful of who is in their shop no matter the age and I’ve seen them all in the shop from very small children getting their first cut to more mature adults getting a cut and a shave. And I’d be ok with any of them cutting my son’s hair. We have definitely found our barber shop home for the long foreseeable future.

Cannot say enough positive remarks for this crew. Cole used to cut my hair a few years ago, and always loved his attentiveness and general conversation. For the past five years I've floated around to different barbershops. Today, I stepped in as a walk-in, and received a cut from Hunter. He was kind, efficient, and lined me up as I had requested. I have found a new home. Thank you ABS! 🇺🇲
