Aiken Fence

Proceed with caution with this company. I spent $10,000 for a small fence and pergola, that was installed with MAJOR errors - fence was set back almost three feet deeper than the original design specs, and the street side entrance gate was placed on the wrong side and in front of a downspout! The hardware for the gates was placed on backwards. Various cracked boards, exposed nails and bowing of boards. I was charged $700 for a mesh tarp that they referred to as a "sun sail", which was a brazen lie. I was told the tarp would be functional and easily removable. It was bolted down and not removable and provided zero sun protection. When I demanded it be removed and me refunded my money I was given the runaround. Once taken down I inspected this plastic Amazon tarp and found that they had removed the tags!!! SCAM. They did come out and replace the cracked boards and switch the hardware, and on another visit to address more complaints the owner himself came for a walkthrough and basically tried to gaslight me into asking if I had treated the fence yet saying that the wood was bowing because the fence needed to be treated- mind you it has only been four months since installation, and I was instructed to let the wood dry out. Coincidentally, I was already in the process and had stained a few boards with stain samples a few days prior to our walkthrough, which he saw with his own eyes. I am an educated homeowner and property manager. I know good work when I see it. The poor quality of wood and craftsmanship of the fence/pergola has nothing to do with the fence not being stained 16 weeks post install. Not one time did I ever receive an apology about the major mistakes, the setback and slope of the fence and the countless oversights and poor quality. The playing dumb routine rubbed me the wrong way as well as being blamed for being slow to stain the boards and told that no customer had ever complained about their TARPS or ever wanted to know the manufacturer an...

Please do not use this company. Over the course of this project, there have been repeated delays and unresolved issues due to the lack of on-site technical support. Despite prior conversations and expectations, technician availability continues to be inconsistent, which directly impacts progress and timelines. Additionally, I’ve noticed a lack of communication and follow-through from the project management . Critical updates, and accountability have been difficult to obtain, leaving me to chase down information that should be proactively provided. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they will take your money

I've been meaning to write a review but haven't. So I've decided to go ahead and do so. I entered into contract on 6/2/22 with the owner who was out of town. He said they would complete the fence in a week. It took over a month. Workers didn't show up when they were supposed to and other excuses. My estimate was $13,550.71. I have them a $6000.00 deposit, parts were delivered and work was to begin and they said we made a mistake on the estimate. It actually cost $16,807.17, which if I didn't want to start all over again and have them pick up the material, I had to honor the new price. My experience working with Aiken Fence, which I thought was a local company by the name of was not a very pleasant experience. The work got done, eventually. Today after a storm, (1/10/24), I picked up the gate off the ground because the wind blew it down. Not quite 2 years.-Warning, I don't believe this company is a local company despite its name. A RESPONSE TO THE OWNER It was wind damage. I have this on video. A car did not drive through the gate.

Mr. Dan and his wife came to my sisters rescue after a storm knocked down part of her fence. They came back and temporarily propped the fence back up so her little dogs would be safe. Without knowing if my sister would use them for permanent repairs. She did hire them to replace her worn out privacy fence with A Beautiful new well constructed and quality privacy fence. Thank you so very much for helping my sister!!

We recently had a 6-foot high vinyl privacy fence installed in the color Clay, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The installation was incredibly professional, level panels, and everything looked great. Before making our decision, we visited the Aiken Fence office where they have a yard area with full-size samples of the fencing. It was so helpful to see the actual product in person, including the latch and hinge options. Being able to touch and inspect everything made us feel confident about the quality. The project manager, a lovely and knowledgeable lady, was a pleasure to work with. She answered all of our questions patiently and made sure we felt informed every step of the way. She gave us her personal cell number and said we could call her day or night. She really wanted us to feel good about our purchase and installation.
