ACTS

So I’ve done my fair share of volunteering here that ACTS. It’s an amazing place to volunteer especially with the people you work with there. The people are so nice especially most of the people who work in the office. There’s always drinks and food available whenever a volunteer needs some type of refreshment. Now you be astonished as to why it’s four stars instead of five. Are you? Perchance? Well it’s only four stars because usually as a volunteer I dive into the criteria in ACTS. That’d be The Pantry, and Intake. If I would to complain about the Intake, it would be it’s poor management by the Intake Manager. I think her name is Patty or Patricia. She just treats her employees really atrociously. She expects so much from everyone and doesn’t even help when it comes to intake. How in the world is she intake manager if she’s not managing Intake. She treats people like they can do everything at the same time but it’s just not possible. She even got mad at a poor volunteer who I know good and well, for wanting to help in the store. Who gets mad when they’re offered help? Either way everyone else is good in their heart. I’m glad that most of them are helping the community and not just complaining. Also to the employee who works in intake, she’s very friendly. She is very understanding and keeps the intake area very clean.

I worked with non-profit organizations for decades. It's good to see that people with a genuine, giving spirit still exists. It's one thing to care for people, but it takes special hearts to care about people.

You can tell the staff makes the most of their job there

People are very friendly they have good quality social skills and will help you get your life back on track from the hardship that you have indore in your life. The parking lot is not available at all times but there is plenty of parking available in the area of the building.

Omg I'm bout to go to work an acts gave me a bran new bike helmet an a brad new lock they were great !!!!
