I hired AW Electrical to run electrical from my garage to my shed—a 120-foot run. I supplied the conduit and main wire and paid $1300 for what was mostly labor, plus a subpanel, a few breakers, and 15 feet of Romex. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing: • They left an unsealed hole through my garage siding, exposed to rain. • The LB cover into the shed was stripped and fell off, leaving wires exposed to weather. • The main panel door no longer latches, and the subpanel door doesn’t close. • They put four holes through my shed wall during installation. • The quoted light was never installed. • When I brought this up, I was told it would be done later—when I pay for more work (gazebo connection). They came highly recommended, so I’m surprised and disappointed with the lack of attention to detail, incomplete work, and the fact that I now need to chase down basic corrections. I’m hopeful they will resolve these issues, but as it stands, I can’t recommend them based on my experience

This is the second time I've used AW Electric. The first time was after the hurricane when several rooms didnt have power. They came right out, took care of the issue and had reasonable pricing. Well, I had to call them again. Richard came out and let me say that their service is consistent. Richard was knowledgeable and efficient. He found the source of the problem and fixed it immediately. The exposed wires he found could've started a fire and we are so grateful he was as thorough as he was. He repaired the issue causing the outage, fixed the fuse and we are safer than when this started.

Top notch company! Austin will get the job done efficiently and affordably. Richard and the guys are very knowledgeable and you will be treated like you are their only customer. They respect your time and property. I'm happy to recommend AW Electric.

The task at hand was a total rewire of a 60 year old house being brought to 2025 standards, more specifically going from 2 wire clothe to 3 wire and adding a 200amp panel and exterior breaker switch. This review was difficult as there were good moments with shining stars and bad moments with communication issues and Quality Control. Richard, the manager, was very knowledgeable but through the course of the project became inundated with other projects. They were also training a new individual, not naming, but lacked follow-up on his tasks performed. At one point the new guy half hooked up a ceiling fan and left the task unfinished. The follow-up was someone enclosing the casing. On a later date the ceiling fan was luckily checked by Mike and found to be hooked to the wires of a previous transmitter instead of the actual required wires. I worked diligently planing and assisting in achieving a successful inspection by having A&W begin with the floor joist exposed for ease of running the wires and then by bringing in the subfloor contractor again so the inspection could begin with subfloors installed. The inspector showed at my residence unannounced to me, and I was out running errands, but luckily the dry wall contractor was on scene to allow access. Once the power was returned there were issues getting the crew back out on the project. Communication with the crew was found to be lack luster until I contacted the company direct and the planner set up future dates. Another issue was that I had to QC the project myself and jot down incomplete work. The crew came out and repaired the issues only for me to re-QC and find further issues. Then more time was needed to reschedule to have the new issues addressed while I paid $30.00 a day for generator fuel for approximately a month. I must say that each time the crews did return any issues I had were addressed but I would always have to QC the next step. Then when I mentioned new items I was told that these items weren’t o...

Mike and Josh were professional and showed up on time, actually early. They did the job right and were very respectful about where the could dig for the electrical line. I had no breaker box for the spa so they called me to verify and took care of getting one. The spa is working perfectly.
